At the beginning of this rotation, 2019-2020, the Area Chair assembled a Calendar ad hoc Committee to focus on reviewing the overall Area 36 calendar and provide recommendations about possible revisions. On 12/7/2019, the Calendar ad hoc Committee provided a presentation at the afternoon Area 36 Committee Meeting which included the following documents posted here on the web: the Proposal comprised of a proposed Area Calendar and Zone Map; a PowerPoint presentation and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). The Area Chair encourages Districts to have discussions on the Proposal that is now open for discussion. The proposal will be brought forward by the Area Chair at the February 22, 2020 Area Committee Meeting for approval, and if approved will be put on the March 2020 Area Assembly Agenda for a vote. District Committee Members (DCMs) who would like a member of the ad hoc committee to attend their District meeting to present the materials are asked to contact the Area Chair directly.
